Singapore is very expensive in comparison with all the countries we have traveled through. You can always manage to find something affordable but then you will have a low quality room. Sometimes hotels offer discount for late check in, which we had both of the nights we were there.

Golden Dragon Hotel

Price: 27 euro for check in after 7pm, otherwise 33 euro
For this price, you can’t expect much in Singapore. Good for one night, but certainly not for more.
Little India
Madras Hotel

Price: 30 euro for check in after 11.30pm, otherwise 90 euro
The hotel had very rude owners. Ok, we had a good price, but it was almost midnight before we were able to check in. They let us wait in the lobby and didn’t let us go in the room a minute earlier. On top of that, they also told us we had to check out at 8.30am. When we asked for one hour extra to sleep out, they told us we have to pay an extra 10 euro. Also, but understandable, breakfast wasn’t included for that price. We asked how much we have to pay for this breakfast and they simply refused to let us have breakfast there. The room was really nice with a rain shower in the bathroom. The area was really noisy and it took us a while to fall a sleep. Don’t come here!
